We were a two x family group of eight, 6yrs to 54 yrs. Traveled from Leeds, England and stayed in Estepona, Spain and did a road trip visit to Gibraltar from Estepona to Gibraltar, about 60km. no fuss with the road trip. The borders were relaxed on the 15-07-2026. So passport checks though I had taken all the group members passports.

We took a guided tour managed by the Gibraltar Govt, so straight forward fixed prices.

Charlie Peire was our guide and our driver. the vehicle was inclusive and total price of 480£.

Charlie is an excellent guide who made us comfortable in every aspect of a guided tour, gave us all the tour information and all the places we were going to see in two hour tour.

Charlie took us to St Michals cave( you cannot miss this), absolutely amazing caves with stalactites and stagalactites which have been lit up with colourful lights.

part of the tour was Hercules pillars-this was start of the tour.

After cave was the sky walk and the James Bond and Star wars movie scene shot places.

The timing by Charlie with his videos for the James Bond movie scene is just an amazing experience.

Then world war II tunnels tour.

Then Charlie dropped us off to our vehicle for our further Spain holiday continuance.

Charlie is an amazing gentleman, friendly, speaks at least English and Spanish, provided information to make us a decision about going on the tour. At every tourist attraction gave us the necessary info and safety with the macaque monies, giving us time to see the attractions.

I will visit Gibraltar again and will definitely hope to see Charlie.

I went today to do the tour from Seville to Gibraltar and honestly best tour guide ever. He was sooo patient and good at explaining and he was very friendly and I enjoyed our conversation. Thank you sooo much Charlie 🙂

We were very lucky to do the Gibraltar tour with Charlie, and the experience was absolutely excellent. He was extremely helpful, clear in his explanations, friendly and very attentive throughout the entire tour. He explained everything in both English and Spanish, always happy to answer questions and share the local history and interesting facts.

Charlie was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Gibraltar, and delighted in sharing his own stories about run ins with Monkeys, and How the people coped with WWII.

We did get to see all the things to see in Gibraltar. The monkeys in particular was a hit: despite warnings of mischiefness, we did see one hiker lose her lunch to a resourceful monkey that jumped on her back, got her day pack open, and make off with her Tupperware containing hard boiled eggs and ham and cheese sandwiches. Fun was had by all.

The tour also gave us reason to return, and perhaps explore the old WWII defenses, the gondola and maybe a weekend craft fair.

We had a fantastic tour in Gibraltar today! Our guide, Ethan, took us up the Rock to see all the main sights, including the famous monkeys. His knowledge of Gibraltar’s history was impressive, and he was incredibly friendly and engaging throughout the tour. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Gibraltar!

Va recomand pentru că vedeți mult mai multe lucruri decât cu telecabina, se ocupa de voi pe tot parcursul drumului explicând istoria locului în care sunteți și aveți bonus poze cu maimuțele. We stopped at Gibraltar on a cruise, and happened to find Charlie at the Grand Casemates Square when we were looking for a taxi to take us to some of the famous sites. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating for our group of 8, including several children. He even showed us a clip from James Bond that was filmed on the roads along the hills that we were driving on! If we came back, we would book with him ahead of time. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our Gibraltar tour with Charlie. I’d previously planned to take the cable car up, but I’m so glad to have done this tour instead. Charlie is a wonderful guide – informative, kind and made the whole experience a lot of fun. He was patient while we saw all the sites, helped us to get great pictures with the monkeys and we never felt rushed. He had answers for all of our questions and you could tell he cared. I could not recommend this experience any more highly.
